Thank you for taking the time to visit me online! Since 1996, I have had the honor of representing the 55th district in the Kansas House of Representatives. Our district encompasses downtown Topeka, the Kansas state capitol, Washburn University, Colmery O'Neil Veterans Medical Center, Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library, and 11 historic Topeka neighborhoods.
Topeka will thrive when our families have access to the opportunities they deserve - such as good paying jobs, affordable health care, a high quality education for our children, and a strong energy plan for future generations. I have worked consistently to make those opportunities more accessible to you and your family.
We have made significant progress, but I know we have more work to do. I am grateful for the opportunity to work for our community and our neighborhoods and am proud of what we have acheived.
